Our New Address 04/16/05 We have a new address! WOOOO HOOO! Los Angeles, CA 90019-2538 I just got the call 20 minutes ago and I am excited. We have to go and give the deposit today at 4pm. $2785.00 ouch! It is a two bedroom place in a good neighborhood. We will use the second bedroom as an office. below is a link to a map. Want to read something funny? We were waiting patiently yesterday to hear about two apartments, 1319 Masselin and 1319 Mansfield. All day we waited. We finally got a call from the owner of one of the places and she said she really wanted us over the other applicants but the property management company was dragging their feet with the credit check. So this morning Alice and I had planned to go see seven more openhouses just incase we lost out on all of our choices. When lo and behold at 10:45 am we get a call from the Masselin people. Yeah! Then, not ten minutes later, we gat a call from the Mansfield people. I hated to have to turn down the Mansfield place because the owner was so nice and told us she really wanted us over the other applicants but, they were our 2nd choice and they didn't call first. Harsh, I know, but that's how it landed. It is nice to be wanted, even if it is just for our money. Wow! I never thought I would be saying that. Maybe one day I can grow up to be a real boy too. In case you were wondering...Yes, both places do have the exact same number (1319, it's no typo) just on different streets. |
